CES 2023 Drone Highlights Recap

The annual CES in Las Vegas is about to kick off, bringing together the world’s top innovators, visionaries, and tech enthusiasts. Once again, CES will push the boundaries of technology and shape the future. CJC Motor will showcase its innovative brushless motors and motor controllers for drones and aerial cameras at Booth 2114, West Hall.

Let’s take a look back at the standout drone innovations from CES 2023!

· Autel EVO Max 4T Drone: This commercial quadcopter features DJI quad motors, delivering an impressive 42-minute flight time and equipped with a thermal imaging sensor. It can fly reliably even without GPS—ideal for remote operations. Autel also unveiled two new charging docks: one for its Dragonfish commercial drone and another for its EVO consumer drone. Notably, the Dragonfish dock is the first ever designed specifically for vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) drones.

· DroMii Drone Road Mapping System: Another standout exhibitor was DroMii, which uses drones and AI-powered software to generate detailed road condition maps. Its software processes high-quality 4K aerial imagery and intelligently removes moving objects from roads—providing local governments and navigation systems with clear, accurate road data.

· Korea’s Marine Drone Delivery Platform: Marine Drone Tech, a South Korean company specializing in maritime last-mile logistics, also drew significant attention by using aerial drones to deliver ship supplies.

What to Expect: Drone Innovations at CES 2024

The drone industry is advancing rapidly, and behind their impressive flight capabilities lies a sophisticated power system. The electronic speed controller (ESC), brushless motor, and propeller are the three critical components enabling stable and reliable drone operation. At CES 2024, CJC Motor will present its self-developed brushless motors, quadcopter motors, and drone motor controllers for drones and aerial cameras.
